Alloy 825 resists sulfuric and phosphoric acids, seawater, and chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking. It maintains strength and oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures (up to ~540°C / 1000°F), making it suitable for waste heat recovery, boilers, and refinery heaters.
