The O61 designation indicates the softened, annealed temper of the alloy, resulting in a ductile material that's easier to form into tubes while maintaining excellent performance characteristics.

This copper-nickel alloy offers inherent resistance to biofouling (marine organism attachment), making it particularly valuable for marine heat exchangers. Despite its softness in annealed form, C44300 maintains good strength properties to withstand operational pressures and wear.
