Product Description

Serrated spiral fin tubes are essential components in advanced heat exchangers. The combination of serrated fins and spiral configurations maximizes heat transfer while maintaining structural integrity. Tube and fin materials may be carbon, stainless steel, copper, ferritic alloy or austenitic alloy steel and can be of similar or dissimilar material combinations.

The fin strip is cut or serrated at equally spaced intervals, with fins attached to the tube using high-frequency welding techniques. This ensures strong and durable connections while minimizing thermal distortion.

ASTM A312 TP304 Base Tubes Details

ASTM A312 specification covers seamless, straight-seam welded, and heavily cold worked welded austenitic stainless steel pipe intended for high-temperature and general corrosive service. Welded (WLD) pipe is made using an automatic welding process with no addition of filler metal during the welding process.

Grades TP304H, TP309H, TP309HCb, TP310H, TP310HCb, TP316H, TP321H, TP347H, and TP348H are modifications of Grades TP304, TP309Cb, TP309S, TP310Cb, TP310S, TP316, TP321, TP347, and TP348, and are intended for high-temperature service.
