Helical solid fin tubes, also known as high frequency welding fin tubes, are manufactured using a specialized process that utilizes high-frequency electrical currents to fuse metal edges without additional filler materials.
Material Specifications
ASTM A213 TP347H S34709 base tubes are seamless ferritic and austenitic steel tubes designed for boiler, superheater, and heat-exchanger applications. Grades containing "H" provide enhanced creep-rupture strength.
Manufacturing Process
Tubes are manufactured through the seamless process and can be hot finished or cold finished. Grade TP347HFG is specifically cold finished with heat treatment at 2000°F (1100°C) for cold worked or 1925°F (1050°C) for hot rolled.
