ASTM A335 P22 tubes are manufactured from P22 steel, a chromium-molybdenum (Cr-Mo) alloy steel specifically engineered for high-temperature applications. Containing approximately 2.25% chromium and 1% molybdenum, this material offers superior resistance to creep, oxidation, and corrosion at elevated temperatures, making it ideal for pressure vessels, steam boilers, and other high-temperature systems.

ASTM A335 is the standard specification for seamless ferritic alloy-steel pipe used in high-temperature service. The P22 grade is commonly employed in power plants and chemical processing industries where materials must endure both extreme temperatures and pressures.
