A studded fin tube, also known as a studded tube or pin fin tube, is a specialized finned tube used in heat exchangers to enhance heat transfer efficiency. These tubes are particularly effective in the convection chamber of tubular furnaces where they significantly increase the surface area for heat transfer compared to plain tubes.
